Great news!

We have received approval to accommodate a limited number of RVs for The B&C Technologies 2019 F18 North American Championship and Canadian Nationals.

If you are interested in bringing an RV to the event, please contact Uli Gollwitzer to reserve a space:

We have space for up to 4 RVs at the club and up to 5 RV at nearby Island Harbor Marina (24600 Jefferson Avenue St. Clair Shores, MI 48080).

Due to space constraints at CSYC (the host club), we ask that those that can stay at Island Marina do so. RVs that are not pre-approved will not be allowed at the regatta.

As an alternative, we also have space available on members boats in the harbor at CSYC.

Second Chance for Older F18 Designs

Written by

Following the example of the 2019 F18 Worlds in Spain we are announcing a special trophy for classic F18 Catamarans. The Notice of Race has been updated accordingly (reflected in version 1.02).

A classic F18 is defined solely by the hull shape by not having inverted bows. So, don’t let your older production-year F18 be an excuse to not participate in the F18 North American Championships! You may not be first, but you still can win an award. Well, you never know - a well setup classic could still be overall North American Champion! Anything is possible.

Classic boat examples, commonly sailing in the US, are the Hobie Tiger, the Nacra F18 or Inter 18.
